Wild Goat Kids Sensory

Welcome to Wild Goat Kids Sensory these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, products, and website. By paying your deposit/weekly session fee and engaging in our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Services

Our playgroups and events are designed to incorporate child lead play by age-appropriate sensory stimulation. The playgroups and programs are designed for children aged from 6 weeks old (parent/mum groups) to 6 years old (pre-school age) and are segmented into recommended age groups with appropriate sensory activities per age group.

Parental Supervision

All activities conducted by Wild Goat Kids Sensory require active parental or guardian supervision. Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s safety and behaviour at all times during our sessions, events, or while using our products.

Our Messy Play sessions and events deliver a range of play based sensory experiences that require parental supervision at all times due to small parts, breakables and food based ingredients. These experiences comprise of, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Food based products 
  • Small pieces and loose parts 
  • Breakables, such as metal, ceramics, pottery, etc. 
  • Eco Paints 
  • Playdough 
  • Natural and artificial elements 
  • Potions, water play, large ice cubes, citrus play, herbs and spices

Although lots of the materials we use are food based, we do not encourage you to let your child to taste/mouth them.

Health and Safety

Allergies

  • It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform us before your session or event of any allergies or medical conditions their child may have before participating in any session or event.
  • We strive to provide allergen-free products; however, we cannot guarantee that our environment or products are free from all allergens eg. some products may contain “traces”.
  • We do not consider ourselves to be an allergy free environment and have no control over food products brought into our premises. 
  • It is the Parents/guardians responsibility to ensure that their child does not consume any product or material provided during the sessions if they have known allergies.

Medical Conditions

  • Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions their child has that may require special attention during our sessions or while using our products.
  • We are not responsible for any medical emergencies that may arise during our sessions or events. Parents/guardians should ensure that they have the necessary medication and supplies for their child.

Participation

  • Participation in our activities is voluntary. Parents/guardians are responsible for determining whether our activities are suitable for their child.
  • By participating, parents/guardians acknowledge that they understand the nature of the activities and the potential risks involved.

Liability

  • Except in circumstances where liability cannot be excluded by law, we (including employees and contractors) exclude all liability for any personal injury, loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of opportunity, loss of reputation or goodwill, loss of privacy or loss or corruption of information or data); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any from the delivery of our services and / or product. This includes but is not limited to any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference. 
  • Parents/guardians understand that Wild Goat Kids Sensory can be messy and the materials used may stain or damage clothing. It is advised to wear old clothing and shoes for this reason.
  • Wild Goat Kids Sensory is in no way responsible for your personal belongings or items. We are not able to provide secure places to store such; therefore it is recommended that anything considered valuable remain at home. 

Refunds and Cancellations

  • Enrolling your child / children into our playgroups or events means you are providing express consent to receive an invoice and are legally liable for all fees and charges associated with the service i.e. you are entering into a legal contract with us, under Common Law. We do not offer refunds in sessions, events or terms.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions or events due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, parents/guardians will be notified as soon as possible and provided with alternative options.
  • In accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we are not required to give a refund or replacement if you change your mind about the service. Therefore, you are still liable for remitting all outstanding fees. 
  • In extenuating circumstances, we reserve all rights and decision making whether to issue refunds or other forms of compensation. In such circumstances, a refund will only be permitted where the owners of Wild Goat Kids Sensory have made this decision.

Class Absence / Makeup Session 

  • In the event you cannot attend a session, all reasonable attempts must be made to inform us of your absence. You can do this via email to; info@wildgoatevents.co or phone 0409 594 915. 
  • We understand kids get sick and you sometimes will have to cancel last minute. We need at least 24hrs notice to reschedule to another session. Please feel free to pass your session time over to a friend and advise us of the name change.

Photography and Media

  • We may take photographs or videos during our sessions and events for promotional purposes. By participating, parents/guardians consent to the use of their child’s image for these purposes.
  • Parents/guardians who do not wish for their child’s image to be used must notify us in writing prior to the session or event.

Privacy

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 Wild Goat Kids Sensory has included a statement that explains how we handle your personal information. Personal information is essential to booking with Wild Goat Kids Sensory. To book a session or event with Wild Goat Kids Sensory we require your name, email, phone number, children’s name, children’s age & any medical data that may be of importance. 

All information is collected via email, phone & our social media platforms as well as our website. Wild Goat Kids Sensory will use your personal information for business purposes only. If for any reason you would like a copy of any of your personal information collected you can request a copy. By law we need to hold your information for a period of 6 years. 

Data breaches can and do occur. Our policy to communicate a breach is available on request. If you feel your personal information collected by us has been mishandled please email; info@wildgoatevents.co or phone 0409 594 915.

Your personal information will not be disclosed outside Australia. If you need to change or update your personal information is it your responsibility to contact us via email as soon as possible. Wild Goat Kids Sensory will update the privacy policy if our handling of information changes via our email.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is the responsibility of parents/guardians to review these Terms periodically.
